NA 101 has been revised

The following NAMUR Worksheet has been revised and may now be obtained from the NAMUR Office.

NA 101 "Set-up and Operation of Flow Measuring Systems for Liquids other than Water, for Water and for Gases subject to Statutory Calibration"

NAMUR Worksheet NA 101 "Calibration Law –in brief– for Flow Measuring Equipment" prepared in 2004 was thoroughly revised to reflect the introduction of the European Measuring Instruments Directive (MID).

Since the MID stipulates rules for the placing on the market and putting into use but not the scope of legal controls and inspections, the essential part of the revision refers to the placing on the market and operation of flow measuring systems subject to statutory calibration. In addition, practice-oriented questions relating to the transitional regulations and the operation of measuring systems placed on the market in accordance with the old regulations are discussed. The sections relating to the recalibration in compliance with calibration regulations, the duration of calibration validity and calibration and error limits have only been edited.

Due to the described changes in the content of the worksheet the title was changed to "Set-up and operation of flow measuring systems for liquids other than water, for water and for gases subject to statutory calibration".
