WG 4.20 Remote and Autonomous Operation


The "Remote Operation" working group addresses issues including the following topics in the context of its experience exchange, its concept developments, formulation of requirements to be met by automation solutions and its involvement in national and international standardisation:

  • Definition of Remote Operation for process industries
  • Maturity overview for different industry branches
  • Potential use cases and scenarios in process industries
  • Future requirements for technology and organization to ensure safe, efficient and effective implementation
  • Approaches for necessary change management
