WG 4.1 Asset and Maintenance Management
Focus
The Working Group on Asset and Maintenance Management conducts an exchange of experience, develops concepts and is involved in national standardisation efforts. As part of these activities the Working Group also addresses the following points:
- Implementation scenarios and concepts for plant-specific asset management
- Description of requirements for the roles and functions of an asset management system
- Integration of digital manufacturer information into the lifecycle process
- Descriptions of maintenance processes
- Tools to support the maintenance process and asset assessments and documentation
- Legal framework as well as standards and guidelines
- Requirements for online and offline asset management systems (e.g. monitoring and diagnosis)
- Use of new technologies
