WG 2.4 Manufacturing Operations Management

Focus

The "Manufacturing Operations Management" working group addresses issues including the following topics in the context of its experience exchange, its concept developments, formulation of requirements to be met by automation solutions and its involvement in national and international standardisation:

  • Planning processes for the implementation of MES solutions
  • Requirements and technical concepts for improving an operational MES infrastructure
  • Economic potentials of MES solutions
  • Optimisation of internal logistics and production control
  • Creation of appropriate organisational structures for the development and operation of MES
