WA 3 Electrical and Instrumentation Technology
The purpose of the "Electrical and Instrumentation Technology" work area is the definition and structuring of requirements relating to field devices, drive technology and related low-voltage technology systems arising from operation of devices and the installation in the process chemistry environment.
The work area represents the interests of operators in this context, focusing on the definition of requirements for the (further) development of system components, field devices and measurement procedures and the standardisation of devices and inspection procedures and equipment.
Details of the issues addressed are contained in the information on individual working groups.
