WG-PRAXIS „Remote or autonomous operation projects“ published

Based on NAMUR Recommendation NE 161 Remote and Autonomous Operation Basics, this WG PRAXIS details aspects of remote and autonomous operation [1]. NE 161 mostly addresses potential applications, limi- tations and benefits as well as organisational and technological changes and developments that are required.
Another document describing the theoretical framework of autonomous plant operation is the Autonomous Operations Maturity Document by WIB [2] in which target states and enablers required to reach these targets states are listed in table format. This WG PRAXIS, on the other hand, intends to offer more specific guidance regarding the practical aspects to be considered and to provide support in the preparation and implementation of projects.
