NAMUR involvement at the Hannover Messe Industrial Automation

Representatives of NAMUR members will be actively involved again in events at the Hannover Messe trade fair from the 7 to the 11 April 2014.


Process Automation Place, Hall 11, Stand E60.

This year sees the debut of the Process Automation Place – the meeting point for the process industry. From a technological point of view, issues such as process control technology, field instrumentation with a focus on measuring technology or actuators, process analysis measuring technology or digital field communication will be addressed in a comprehensive workshop programme held throughout the entire week. NAMUR representatives will report on SIL and measurement deviations relating to field devices. NAMUR will also be involved in the Midday Talk on modularisation in the process industry from 2:00 to 2:45 pm.

Forum Industrial IT, Hall 8, Stand D19 

The focus at Forum Industrial IT will be on topics including "IT Security in Industry" and "Networking and Integration" during the trade fair. In addition, the next steps to be taken in the major issue of Industry 4.0 will be outlined.

NAMUR is represented in the High Level Panel on the outlook for the production industry on the 7 April 2014 from 4:00 to 5:00 pm and in the dialogue on IT security sites in reality, "Are Best Practice Solutions Appropriate and Efficient?", on the 11 April 2014 from 12:20 to 1:00 pm.

Efficiency Arena, Hall 14, Stand K09

Discussions will be held on energy efficiency in automation over the entire week in the Efficiency Arena, offering the perfect opportunity to share in the experience of others.

NAMUR will address the issue of efficient energy management on the 9 April 2014.

MES Conference, Convention Center (CC), Auditorium 3 A

The 6th MES Conference - MES in Practice 2014 (Process Industry) will be held on the 10 April 2014 from 1:00 to 5:00 pm. Under the motto "Speed. Flexibility. Transparency", methods to design more efficient production and manufacturing processes with the aid of intelligent MES solutions will be illustrated.

Representatives of NAMUR members will report on production-related IT and energy data management.
