First NAMUR Conference in China

The Asian economic area is becoming increasingly important, a fact many NAMUR member companies have recognised having established production facilities or offering their engineering services in the Asian region.

This is why NAMUR decided to host its first NAMUR Conference in China to promote an exchange of experience between the users of automation technologies familiar with the specific overall conditions in the Asian economic area.

This project will initially be hosted by subsidiaries of NAMUR member companies. However, the ultimate objective is to get the Chinese business community involved in this exchange of experience.

On 19 and 20 November 2009, many NAMUR members and interested enterprises will meet at this Conference in Shanghai. This year's Conference will be sponsored by Endress + Hauser which operates its own production and distribution in China and will also make contributions to the contents of the Conference.
