    • Shall the MES system manage inventory / warehouse definitions?

    • Are all the definitions complete and up to date? How is that ensured
    • For which inventury do you have existing documents?
    • Which information is needed from (external) data bases?
    • How and where can the user work with the documents?
       
  • Managing changes to inventory definitions
    • Shall the MES manage changes to inventory/ warehouse definitions?
    • How is the release process designed for inventory definitions?
    • How shall the version management of the documents be implemented?
    • Who has access to which documents und is allowed to make modifications?

 

  • Providing inventory definitions to other applications, personnel, or activities
    • Shall the MES provide inventory/warehouse definitions to other systems, users or functions?
    • Who and how has to be informed about the lauch of new inventory definitions?
    • How is it ensured that the information is received?
    • Does the modification of inventory definitions impact the resource management?
