Selected topics for Hannover Fair Industrial Automation

Representatives of NAMUR member companies will again discuss MES and intelligent field devices at events held during the Hannover Fair from 25 to 29 April 2016. In the following you will find a number of events that we would like to recommend in particular.

MES Conference at the Convention Center (CC) Room 3

The 8th MES Conference will take place at the Fair Ground Convention Center (CC) on Thursday, 28 April 2016, 11.00 to ca. 16.00 hrs. In companies, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) link production systems with management level systems. Presentations on current applications in the process industry will be given in the morning, while MES in discrete manufacturing will be discussed after lunch.
Representatives of NAMUR member companies will report on

• Resource efficiency indicators and
• MES engineering as a basis for Industry 4.0.

Forum on Industrial Automation in Hall 14, Booth L 17

During the entire Fair interesting presentations will be given and panel discussions held at the Forum on Industrial Automation, e.g. on

• Process Automation on Wednesday morning, followed by a panel discussion on intelligent field devices (NAMUR will participate), 12.30 – 13.15 hours
• Energy-Efficient Pump Systems and Components on Thursday morning, followed by a panel discussion, 12.30 – 13.15 hours
