Press release: European associations of users of automation technology in the process industries signed cooperation agreement

Agreement underlines good relations

The European user associations of automation technology in the process industries (EI, EXERA, WIB and NAMUR) recently signed a mutual cooperation agreement to align and strengthen their representation of interests.

Beside others the agreement deals with

• the development of common positions on present and future European and International issues, including standardization and regulations/directives;
• options for the different way of cooperation in the working groups and
• jointly developed documents.

The agreement was finalized in the annual meeting in September 2014 in Brussels. After the final signature was made, NAMUR was proud to announce the result on the General Annual Meeting on November 6, 2014.
