NAMUR welcomes a new Board member for January 1, 2021

At its meeting in Leverkusen on October 30, 2020, the NAMUR Board of Management elected a new Board member.
Dr. Wilhelm Otten is due to retire from the NAMUR Board of Management on December 31, 2020. His successor from January 1, 2021 will be Igor Stolz of Evonik Operations GmbH.

In accordance with the Association's statutes, the Board has appointed Igor Stolz as a substitute member until the end of the present election period (Member's Meeting 2022).

After graduating from Berlin Technical University, he joined Evonik in 1995, starting as a project engineer in Frankfurt, Germany. This was followed by 5 years as an Instrument Engineer in AL, USA. Returning in 2003, he worked for two years as Senior Project Engineer in Marl, Germany. He then went abroad again as Process Control Manager in Beijing, China. In 2007, he came back to Germany as Project Manager Process Control and finally as Head of Process Control in Hanau.

Igor Stolz is currently VP Electrical & Process Control, Process Technology & Engineering for Evonik Operations GmbH in Hanau and Marl.
