“NAMUR Activities in China” – the ninth NAMUR conference in China

The ninth NAMUR Annual Conference in China will be held in Shanghai on 22 and 23 November 2017. This event has grown continually since 2009, the year in which NAMUR was established in China, and had more than 150 attendees every year at recent conferences.

Right from the beginning, the NAMUR Annual Conference in China has been a platform for professionals to learn about new technologies and exchange experience. During the event, NAMUR China working groups will present the results of their NAMUR Activities in China. Some of these results have been already published as NAMUR worksheet or NAMUR recommendation.

This year, the focus of the conference will be on Solutions for Intelligent Manufacturing in the Process Industry. In addition to the main session, parallel workshops will be held as well. English and Chinese simultaneous interpretation will again be available to support communication at the conference.

The programme will be complemented by interesting conference contributions and an exhibition by this year’s sponsor, Yokogawa, which already sponsored the 2016 NAMUR Annual General Meeting in Bad Neuenahr, Germany. Both NAMUR and Yokogawa will present some ideas about Solutions for Intelligent Manufacturing in the Process Industry”.
