NA 82 has been revised

Abstract to NA 82 "Brief Introduction to the Calibration Law for Scales and Filling Systems" (Version: 14.09.2012)

The NAMUR Worksheet addresses the legislative basis for legal metrology in Europe, the German Calibration Law and the obligatory calibration in business transactions. It includes automatic and non-automatic scales, the completed package ordinance and the repair of calibrated scales and filling systems.

NAMUR Worksheet NA 82 was completely revised to reflect the changes in European legal metrology occurred in the past few years. These involve in particular Directive 2004/22/EC "Measuring Instruments Directive" and Directive 2009/23/EC "Non-automatic Weighing Instruments" replacing the previous Directive 90/384/EC.
