NA 166 is newly published

The NAMUR Worksheet NA 166 has been released and may now be obtained from the NAMUR Office.

Worksheet NA 166 replaces the already withdrawn worksheet NA 101 "Set-up and Operation of Flow Measuring Systems for Liquids other than Water, for Water and for Gases subject to Statutory Calibration"

This document differs from NA 101: 2011-11-20 as follows:

• Completely restructured document
• Split into two separate German and English versions
• Like NA 101, NA 166 deals with the (German) Weights and Measures Act, but does no longer address the transition from previous acts. It rather concentrates on the currently valid Weights and Measures Act. Its focus is on the Act’s practical application in the process industry and does not consider any special individual cases (e.g. measuring systems) (which is why this NAMUR Worksheet was given a new number).

It rather concentrates on the practical application of the currently valid Weights and Measures Act in the process industry. The focus is on energy and product exchange between different companies. The key principles and the possibility of exceptions are explained.
