The NAMUR/ZVEI working group 4.18.4 created the WG PRACTICE Identity and Access Management on Automation Devices – Proof of Concept: Identifying cryptographic capabilities. This proof-of-concept group is based on NAMUR NE201, focusing on identity and access management and its technical implementation. European regulations, like the Cyber Resilience Act1, push vendors to create more secure products by default, with a key focus on identity and access management.
