Operational Excellence in Bezug auf Sicherheit und Nachhaltigkeit steht im Mittelpunkt der 7. Process Management Academy (PMA) vom 28. Februar bis 1. März 2011 im Radisson BLU Astrid Hotel in Antwerpen. Der Branchentreff des Veranstalters ARC Advisory Group ist als Informations-Plattform für Anlagenbetreiber in der Prozessindustrie konzipiert und lädt Teilnehmer ein zum Erfahrungsaustausch untereinander und Dialog mit Experten aus der Automatisierungstechnik.

Auf der PMA erfahren die Teilnehmer, welche Veränderungen im Verhalten, der Organisationsstruktur und Technik umgesetzt werden können, um eine optimale Prozess- und Betriebssicherheit zu erreichen. Damit verknüpft ist die Sicherheit von Personal und Kunden bzw. Patienten. Neben dem Sicherheitsaspekt werden auf der PMA auch neue Lösungen für mehr Energieeffizienz und Emissionsreduzierung in Prozessanlagen präsentiert, die zeitnah umgesetzt werden können und den Verbrauch von fossilen Brennstoffen und anderen Ressourcen kostenwirksam senken.

Bei der 7. PMA führt ARC das in diesem Jahr neu eingeführte crossmediale Konzept fort: Um mehr Anwender zu erreichen, wird die Veranstaltung live im Internet auf www.process-management-academy.com übertragen. Wer nach Antwerpen anreist, kann hingegen vor Ort Networking betreiben und alle Vorteile der Face-to-Face-Kommunikation nutzen.

The 7th Process Management Academy (PMA) will be held at the Radisson BLU Astrid Hotel in Antwerp, Belgium. The event focuses on Operational Excellence in safety and sustainability. Hosted by ARC Advisory Group, the PMA is a platform for process users to share knowledge with their peers and discuss their needs with automation experts.

PMA will address how to implement behavioral, organisational, and technical aspects of process safety with the objective of 100% safe operations. This includes the safety of workers, clients, and patients, which is indirectly related to process safety. In addition to safety aspects, the PMA will also deal with quick and cost effective solutions for improving energy efficiency and carbon footprint by reducing consumption of fossil fuels and other utilities.
