The sixth NAMUR conference in China was held in Shanghai on the 19th and 20th November 2014. The 170 participants listed in the attendance figures show the continued development of NAMUR in China. In addition to participants from user companies in the process industry, representatives of the press, standardisation organisations and universities were also in attendance.

During the conference the working groups presented the results of their work, and the sponsor had the opportunity to decipt its competences. “Integated Engineering” was deeply discussed at the conference and it covered the whole lifecycle including engineering, construction and operation, with several presentations from end user companies and the sponsor as well.

The organisers managed to engage Siemens, which had already sponsored the NAMUR Annual General Meeting in Germany in 2013, as a partner and sponsor of the event. Siemens is a global player with more than 160 years of experience and provides innovative solution concepts for the entire lifecycle of a plant with its broad product portfolio.

The NAMUR China Conference 2015 will be held on 18th and 19th November 2015. The sponsor will be WAGO. The company has its roots in electrical spring-type connector technology and has grown during its 60 year history to become a global leader in this area. WAGO has also been an automation system provider for more than 20 years.
