WG 4.1 Maintenance

Focus

The "Maintenance" working group addresses issues including the following topics in the context of its experience exchange, its concept developments, formulation of requirements to be met by automation solutions and its involvement in national and international standardisation:

  • Maintenance processes (maintenance strategy and effectiveness)
  • Computerised maintenance management systems and tools ( i.e. SAP, maintenance plan generation, asset and document management systems, ....)
  • Leagal requirements
  • Requirements for online asset management (e.g. monitoring and diagnosis)
  • Use of new technologies in maintenance (e.g. Industrie 4.0, mobile maintenance, Auto-ID systems, virtual plant, ...)
  • Integration of digital manufacturer information into lifecycle process
